New York City Gay Realtor Based in Chelsea District
A fourth-generation New Yorker and New York City gay Realtor, Matthew was born on the Upper West Side, and spent much of his childhood in Larchmont. He went to Harvard College, and majored in Visual and Environmental Studies, focusing on architecture, design, and photography. He continued his studies in photography at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, enrolled in its MFA program.
Matthew started his career at the Museum of Modern Art, working in the esteemed department of painting and sculpture. After that, he worked as a graphic designer specializing in nightlife and entertainment flyers and invitations in the heady club era of the early 1990s.
He was a co-founder of the seminal Chelsea-based nightlife and entertainment magazine HX, and he ran the company that published it from 1991 to 2009. He received his Real Estate License in 2010 and began selling properties, while also helping to establish and run AlphaBetterCare, a primary-care and HIV medical practice. In addition, he took on some exciting interior design projects.
