I am a Sonoma gay Realtor and a native New Englander. Before moving West, I earned a BA at the University of Connecticut, and a Masters in counseling at Duke University Divinity School. I lived in southern New Mexico for a few years after grad school, building custom cabinetry and furniture for high end homes.
This sparked a life-long interest the design of homes and interior spaces, and how these evoke responses in people.
I moved to California in 1986, and leveraged my academics and training in counseling - and attention to fine detail - into a successful career as a business analyst consultant for 20 years, working for major corporations such as Charles Schwab, Visa, Merrill Lynch, and Wells Fargo.
While the business was finance and technology, the work was in negotiation, attention to written detail, and overcoming obstacles to bring the client to a successful conclusion with a win for all parties involved.
I retired from the corporate world in order to find a different balance in my life, and entered the real estate field, working first as a CREIA-certified home inspector before joining my partner David Kerr as a real estate agent, working full time in Sonoma and Napa county real estate.
