I have been a Chapel Hill/Durham Realtor and full time broker since 2003, and I love helping clients achieve smooth and easy moves throughout Orange, Durham and Chatham counties.
As a Durham/Chapel Hill gay-friendly Realtor, I bring to real estate a unique mix of communications and finance expertise. I was a communications consultant for a number of years before entering real estate, and prior to that, was a stock analyst in Boston. Real estate has been a great way for me to bring these skill sets together to benefit my clients.
I've lived in the Chapel Hill/Durham area for over 30 years, and know the ins and outs of local communities. I can provide comprehensive information to my clients about the market, and how to best make a move in or out of the area.
My goal is to be a trusted resource for people throughout the home buying or selling process, to make it straightforward, satisfying, and perhaps even fun.
I love what I do - I helped 40 buyers and sellers in the past 12 months - and look forward to the year ahead and helping many more clients achieve their real estate goals.

Area info:
The Orange/Durham/North Chatham areas of the Triangle offer vibrant, progressive and accepting communities for LGBTQ singles and families. Amenities are plentiful, and the community values diversity and self-expression. Combine this with great schools, wonderful weather, fantastic health care systems, an outstanding arts scene, and a plethora of real estate options, and you've got a quality of life that's hard to beat.
In recent past, both Chapel Hill and Carrboro had long-term gay mayors. The area boasts excellence in education within both the public schools and at nationally recognized universities such as Duke and UNC. There are also extensive offerings of theatre, music, dance and other performing and visual arts, with venues and events too numerous to list here. Each August, Durham hosts the annual NC Pride Parade & Festival with over 2,000 marchers and an untold number of spectators.
The Triangle is also home to the OutSouth Film Festival. Held each August in Durham, OutSouth is the second largest gay and lesbian film festival in the Southeast. Gay/lesbian clubs are also plentiful in the area, as are Meet-Up groups. In fact, at last count, there were over 20 queer-associated Meet-Ups throughout region.
The Chapel Hill/Durham area is a progressive, diverse and dynamic place to call home. Cosmopolitan, yet charming. Sophisticated, with down-home hospitality. It's a great combination, and a great place to live.
